Job Description

Position Responsibilities

Regional Supplier Qualification and Approval Strategy

  • Develop and maintain supplier qualification criteria tailored to multiple categories products(food, drink ingredients, distribution, packaging and lifestyle)
  • Lead supplier risk assessment, technical review and onboarding decision - making cross markets.
  • Align COE and operating markets / business units to prioritize sourcing readiness for new market entries.

Audit Governance and Compliance Oversight

  • Plan, conduct and oversee supplier audits and remote assessment.
  • Develop and optimize supplier management framework, standardize audit tools, rating scales and CAPA frameworks across regions.
  • Lead high-risk supplier investigation and ensure timely closure of non-conformances.

Supplier Performance Monitoring-

  • Define and manager Supplier Performance Scorecard including audit performance, CAR closure rate, incident rate trends and responsiveness.
  • Implement and monitor supplier performance tiering to classify supplier criticality and maturity.
  • Review quarterly dashboards and lead cross-functional performance reviews, use analytics to inform strategic sourcing decisions and highlight quality improvement opportunities.

Incident Leadership & Recovery Execution

  • Act as QA incident commander for major supplier-related food safety issues.
  • Lead cross-functional root cause investigations, recovery planning, and reporting.
  • Engage BU, Regulatory, and Management for high-risk incident debriefs

Retail QA Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Oversee cross market retail QA performance including food safety, hygiene, barista practices and compliance with ZUS Retail standards
  • Lead continonus improvement inittiatives in retail QA, embedding best practice into outlet operations
  • Partner with cross market QA to design and roll out QA projects, trainings and frame work to drive customer experience and regulatory compliances.

Specification and Regulatory Alignment

  • Ensure supplier technical documentation meets internal and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate alignment between COE (regional) technical requirements and local BU needs.
  • Manage change control process affecting product specifications, deployment or packaging.

People Management and Capability Building

  • Supervise and mentor QA team member across levels
  • Build supplier QA capabilities via internal and external training programmes.
  • Act as technical point of contact to cross functional team members including procurement, supply chain, product innovation and retail operation.

Strategic Projects and Digital Enablement

  • Champion QA digitalization projects - supplier performance scoreboard, product safety review dashboard, audit trackers.
  • Support integration of quality system across expanding regional operations.
  • Lead strategic sourcing QA readiness for new countries or key focus.

Qualification and Experience

  • At least Degree in Food Science, Food Science & Technology, Quality Assurance, Engineering or other related disciplines.
  • Strong formal background or training in technical areas relevant to FSMS standards (HACCP/ GFSI) and supplier compliance systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier QA, or Quality Compliance roles, with at least 3 years of leadership capacity, in the F&B Retail, FMCG or Quick Restaurant Services line.
  • Experience managing cross-border QA frameworks or regional supplier networks.
  • Good knowledge of supplier management, negotiation, audit performance communication and incident debrief.
  • Proven project management and stakeholder leadership across business units.
  • Data driven mindset, experience with dashboard, audit tools and quality analytics.
  • Agile and pragmatic; comfortable with fast-paced environments and shifting sourcing landscapes
  • Proactive, structured and adaptable to cross-cultural work settings
  • Strong communicator and problem solver, with regional stakeholder engagement capability
  • Committed to quality integrity, detail-orientated, and organized in multitasking
  • Able to articulate new information quickly and react positively to new and challenging opportunities.
  • Possess own transport and wiling to travel.
