Job Description

  • Develop and implement regional Medical Affairs strategies to support product value, scientific leadership, and clinical adoption across diverse markets.
  • Serve as the key medical liaison connecting internal stakeholders including Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Commercial to ensure cohesive execution of medical activities.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, clinical societies, and external experts to gather insights, strengthen relationships, and support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Lead the development of scientific communication frameworks, medical narratives, and evidencebased messaging to support product positioning.
  • Support regional and global clinical programs through input on study design, protocol development, and evidencegeneration initiatives.
  • Oversee medical review of promotional and nonpromotional materials to ensure compliance with scientific and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with regulatory teams by providing medical input for submissions, documentation, and agency interactions.
  • Drive regional medical education programs, workshops, and capabilitybuilding initiatives for internal teams and external partners.
  • Lead crossfunctional medical projects to ensure alignment between global objectives and local market needs.
  • Manage and stabilise regional medical teams, ensuring consistent performance, talent development, and knowledge sharing across markets.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems, governance frameworks, and ethical standards in all medical affairs activities.
  • Deliver clear medical insights, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant


  • Proven experience managing regional (Southeast Asia) Medical Affairs activities within the Life Sciences industry.
  • Medical Degree (MD) or equivalent advanced clinical qualification is essential.
  • Strong background in scientific exchange, clinical engagement, and evidencebased communication.
  • Background in devicebased therapies or proceduredriven clinical environments is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple countries with varied healthcare systems and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret clinical data, market insights, and healthcare trends.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities with both internal crossfunctional teams and external clinical partners.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and lead initiatives across complex, multicultural environments.
  • Proven experience managing teams and driving alignment across regions.
  • Proactive, solutionsdriven, and adaptable to fastmoving, highgrowth markets.
  • Ability to travel within the region (up to 30%)
  • Comfortable in a handson role that requires direct involvement in scientific activities, market support, and daytoday medical affairs execution.
