Job Description

About us

Since the 1930s, the way we commute, socialize and even how we make payments have changed, and yet our fundamental approach to the healthcare system hasn't.

At Ordinary Folk, we're reimagining the building blocks of healthcare, through Noah and Zoey. Noah allows men to receive remote diagnosis and treatment across varying areas of care. Through Zoey, women's sexual wellness and fertility journeys are supported with thoughtful products and services.

Job Description

This role is crucial in optimizing people processes, enhancing employee well-being, and maintaining people policies. We are looking for someone who is organized, empathetic, and eager to grow their expertise in people operations within a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day payroll and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including payroll-related data and documentation.
  • Assist in payroll processing by collecting, verifying, and inputting employee information (e.g., hours worked, leaves, and deductions).
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and administrative policies, providing clear and accurate support.
  • Coordinate and support administrative aspects of employee initiatives, such as training sessions, meetings, and surveys, with precise documentation.
  • Communicate with external vendors (e.g., insurance providers) to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in recruitment administration, including scheduling interviews, coordinating onboarding processes, and facilitating employee orientations.
  • Support compliance efforts by keeping updated on labor legislation and applying it to relevant processes.

Your Experience:

  • Proven experience in payroll and administrative roles, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with payroll systems or software.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
