Role Summary and ImpactAs a
Regional Planning Manager, you will play a critical role within the Regional Team, supporting
regional media strategy and execution across multiple markets. You will work closely with global teams, local markets, and specialist functions to deliver
performance-driven, insight-led campaigns across digital, traditional and influencer channels.
This role requires a strong balance of
strategic thinking and hands-on delivery from developing regional campaign proposals and frameworks, to overseeing day-to-day implementation, optimisation and reporting. You will be instrumental in ensuring regional consistency while enabling local market effectiveness, helping to deliver full-funnel growth across brand, consideration and conversion objectives.
Skills And Experience
Measures of Success:
In Three Months- Begun to develop relationships with the key day-to-day team including Regional clients, internal teams including performance/Nexus teams and Global market teams based in UK/US markets and key media partners.
- Develop a clear understanding of:
- Globally defined media thresholds, sufficiency frameworks and target reach by brand / product campaigns
- Regional objectives, KPIs and campaign priorities
- Agreed implementation, optimisation and reporting cadence with global and regional stakeholders.
- Cross function management, especially with local market teams through collaboration & strong communications skills
In Six Months- Responsible for end-to-end client servicing and planning for brand campaigns and leading the weekly connects with client.
- Develop regional campaign proposals and media strategies, translating insights into:
- Channel selection across digital, traditional and influencer marketing
- Clear role-of-channel frameworks aligned to the full funnel.
- Work closely with local markets to ensure:
- Accurate and timely campaign implementation
- Ongoing optimisation against agreed KPIs (e.g. reach, engagement, CPA, ROAS, subscriptions)
- Apply rigor in:
- Setting, tracking and evaluating campaign KPIs
- Ensuring effective optimisation and delivery using relevant internal teams, agency processes and technology
- Apply innovation-led thinking, proposing new ideas, formats, partnerships or approaches in collaboration with partners and markets including initiatives that are first-in-category or industry-leading.
- Contribute to build strategic response to clients business and media KPIs (e.g. ROAS, performance efficiency).
In 12 Months- Deliver best-in-class client servicing, reflected in strong client feedback during bi-annual evaluations.
- Be recognised as a strong regional connector, driving consistency, quality and performance across markets.
- Ensure cost guarantees are met wherever committed.
- Act as a trusted regional partner to clients by:
- Keeping clients informed on media and digital landscape developments
- Providing relevant competitive and category insights
- Sharing best practices and learnings across markets.
- Ensure client is kept up to date on the media landscape, providing necessary media information and updates and competitor reports.
What You'll Bring
- Developing innovative and effective media and communication solutions in response to client briefs in Search, Social & Programmatic; Influencer and emerging platforms.
- Ensuring precision targeting, accuracy, and timely output across the portfolio.
- Solid understanding of campaign implementation, optimisation and performance analysis, with the ability to translate results into clear, actionable insights
- A strong point of view on the digital and media landscape and client performance.
- Confidence presenting strategic and innovative thinking to regional and global clients
- Your success will be measured through success in team engagement with Global clients/teams & impressive feedback scores from clients and year on year delivery against targets.
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in communication or media or business management (post-graduate/masters preferred)
- At least 5 years in media planning experience or related field required.
- Strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem, with proven experience across Search and Social to develop integrated, full-funnel media. Experience in Influencer marketing is a plus.
- Familiar with SEA media landscape and Genz trends / media behaviour.
- Knowledgeable about and experienced with the concepts, approaches and issues involved in tactical media planning.
- Familiar with the timelines, processes and needs of the implementation of all media.
- Knowledgeable about new approaches to and developments in tactical planning
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to make decisions and use critical thinking.
- Knowledge and use of various research systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, formulations and Presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Capability to operate effectively in a dynamic, adaptable, agile environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to manage diverse conversations with various stakeholders.
