Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to spearhead our sales initiatives in the Oil & Gas and Power sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a proven sales record, focusing on both direct and indirect channels. A strategic thinker is essential to drive growth in both greenfield and brownfield markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the Oil & Gas (O&G) and Power sectors.
  • Manage the sales process for both direct and indirect channels, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate within a matrix organization to leverage resources and enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Drive sales initiatives in greenfield and brownfield markets, adapting approaches as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Train and mentor sales team members to enhance their performance and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management within the Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Power industries.
  • Proven track record in technical sales with a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
  • Strong new project sales credentials and significant experience in winning large projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and navigate complex sales environments.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proven ability to generate new business and manage client relationships.
  • Experience in managing both direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
