Job Description

Based in MALAYSIA, we are hiring a Regional Sales Manager, APAC. In this role, you will manage our customer base, sales resources, products, and channels to achieve planned results for the dedicated country(s) or market. Expected results include but are not limited to growth in profitable sales and market share

Responsibilities

  • Manage and handle customers queries, requests/complaints and co-ordinate with the operation team to satisfy customers&apos needs.
  • Identifying and seizing business opportunities and developing new accounts.
  • Accountable for all logistics and any relevant related issues/collection of payment.
  • Analyses sales trends/preparation of reports for management/advise on the business
  • Provide forecasts/budget for markets and territory for in charged
  • Support the Line Manager in planning, developing and implementing sales strategies and activities to meet overall objectives.
  • Good understanding of this business environment and ability to 'connect' the market.

Qualifications

  • A university degree
  • 8 years industrial business / commercial / sales experience
  • Understanding and know the customers/market related to Carbonate ( chips / marbles ) and Talc markets
  • Candidates with experience in the industrial minerals industry will have an added advantage
  • Understanding of the plastic, rubber, paint & coating , adhesive , sealants , pulp and packaging market in APAC region will be an added advantage
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Logistic knowledge
