Job Description

Our client, the largest, dynamic and tech-forward F&B retail brand in Malaysia, is rapidly expanding across Southeast Asia is seeking a driven and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead distributor management and sales execution across the East Coast, Malaysia region. This role is responsible for delivering sustainable growth, strengthening route-to-market effectiveness, and ensuring excellence in trade execution within a fast-moving consumer environment.

  • Manage assigned distributor operations as a business unit, with full accountability for territory P&L performance.
  • Define and optimize route-to-market strategies to ensure cost-effective coverage and service levels aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with distributors, including monthly and quarterly sales targets, performance tracking, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to align on brand priorities, campaigns, and new product initiatives to accelerate market growth.
  • Ensure accurate bottom-up sales forecasting by SKU with a rolling three-month planning horizon.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels in line with sell-out performance and demand trends.
  • Lead, coach, and develop distributor sales teams and merchandisers to drive strong execution of sales fundamentals.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements to maximize ROI.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic growth channels.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to strengthen market positioning.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG sales and marketing experience, preferably within an MNC or distributor environment managing multinational principals.
  • Proven experience in sales execution, distributor management, route-to-market planning, budgeting, in-store execution, and promotional activities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly motivated, aggressive in achieving targets, and results-driven.
  • prefer to be based in Kelantan & open to travel around East Coast region.
