Regional Sales Manager/Engineer, Automation
What awaits you:
- You collaborate closely with the regional Sales Teams in a portfolio-specific, sales-strategic role related to the automation solutions.
- You act as a regional interface to global service unit.
- You define and realize the automation solution strategy and ensure an optimal exploitation of the market potential in South-East Asia.
- You advise customers in South-East Asia regarding all technical inquiries relating to the MR's automation product solutions.
- You are able to identify and articulate the unique value proposition of our products and services using a compelling command of value-based sales concepts. Addressing specific customer pain points and deliver economic benefits and solutions.
- You technical and commercially support as well as qualify the sales team colleagues on the MR service portfolio, including collaboration on marketing material for the creation of locally required documentation.
- You review the project technically and provide a technical solution if a standard solution not possible.
- You visit customers on own initiative frequently in order to achieve the set goals.
- You attend and take part in the technical events and scientific forums like CIGRE or IEEE
What you bring to the table:
- You have completed a degree in any Engineering field
- You have a minimum 5 years of experience in energy technology or the high voltage energy sector, ideally in the transformer automation/digital solutions and/or in sensor system.
- You have experience in working with customers and a business-oriented focus and a good knowledge of the manufacturing industry, ideally power transformers.
- You are able to understand complex issues and have hands-on mentality.
- You are dynamic, self-initiated, motivated, team player with good interpersonal, communication and excellent negotiation skills.
- you show initiative, motivation, a desire for personal responsibility and willingness to learn.
- You are willing to travel frequently domestic and international (30-50%)
- You speak Business English
- You adapt well in different culture, enjoy working in a team and are very customer-oriented.
- Basic knowledge and initial experience with SAP R/3 is an advantage.
