Roles and responsibilities
To translate Global Security & Risk Management (GSR) strategies into effective regional execution within Southeast Asia. This role ensures robust physical asset protection, operational risk visibility, and consistent security governance while supporting the integration of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards into regional operations.
- Policy Implementation: Translate and implement HQ security policies at the regional level, ensuring compliance across SEA stations.
- Risk Assessment & Auditing: Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits for warehouses and operational sites.
- EHS & ESG Support: Lead the onboarding and monitoring of EHS and ESG initiatives in the region to meet the sustainability requirements of global clients.
- Operational Monitoring: Oversee 24/7 in-country support, including route monitoring and physical security surveillance for high-value cargo.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with HQ teams and stations to manage stakeholder security needs and prioritize risk mitigation.
- Incident Management: Manage incident triage, investigation, and reporting in alignment with HQ templates and response protocols.
- Security Qualifications: Certification in C-TPAT, AEO, STP, TAPA, ISO 28001, or ISO 27001 or similar standards is highly preferred.
- Auditor Training: Professional certification or formal training in auditing standards.
- EHS/ESG Knowledge: Understanding of environmental health, safety regulations, and corporate sustainability frameworks.
- Industry Experience: 35 years of security experience, specifically within logistics or high-volume operational environments.
- Regional Expertise: Experience navigating the fragmented regulatory landscapes across Asian markets.
- Supply Chain Security: Proven track record in vendor management and supply chain resilience.
- Customer Focus: Taking ownership of stakeholders security needs and partnering for success.
- Proactiveness: Anticipating risks and taking preemptive action to mitigate potential threats.
- Accountability: Data-driven decision-making and taking full responsibility for security outcomes.
