Job Description

Our client is a global technology organisation in the security industry is expanding its APAC operations and we're hiring a Regional Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and supplybase optimisation across the region.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with full regional ownership, high visibility with senior leadership, and strong influence over future manufacturing and localisation strategy in Johor running an APAC position.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Own and drive the sourcing agenda for all APAC business units, ensuring alignment with global category strategies and overall business priorities.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen local sourcing, especially focused on expanding supply localisation for the Johor manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and deliver yearonyear Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvement plans.

Supplier Management & Performance

  • Lead strategic reviews with regional suppliers, ensuring exceptional performance, strong commercial outcomes, and operational excellence.
  • Consolidate and rationalise the supplier portfolio where appropriate, shifting fragmented spend into strategic, highvalue partnerships.
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks, including singlesource and highdependency scenarios.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product & Technology teams to ensure costeffective product design and lifecycle management aligned with APAC aftermarket needs.
  • Implement global cost recovery practices, ensuring supplier nonperformance is traced, managed, and recovered.

Leadership & Guidance

  • Act as the sourcing focal point in the region—providing direction, mentorship, and governance to category managers and sourcing teams across multiple APAC locations.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive sourcing experience, including regional or multisite leadership (ideally).
  • Strong negotiation track record with proven costsaving impact.
  • Experience navigating complex, matrix organisations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfort presenting to senior leadership.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis (SAP experience is a bonus).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder, and relationshipbuilding skills.
