You will work directly with the Regional HR Director, Country HR leaders and business leaders to diagnose organizational challenges, develop practical solutions and drive agreed initiatives through implementation.
This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role with regional exposure, suited to someone who combines strong TMOD expertise with the ability to personally execute and deliver the work.
What you will do
- Design and execute structured talent management processes, including talent reviews, succession planning, critical role identification, talent calibration and development of leadership pipelines.
- Execute organization design and effectiveness initiatives covering organizational diagnosis, structure reviews, spans and layers, role clarity, accountability and ways of working.
- Strengthen performance management through better goal setting, KPI quality, performance calibration and relevant people and organizational dashboards.
- Diagnose organizational and leadership challenges and translate them into practical interventions that address underlying business needs.
- Design and execute leadership and manager development initiatives, including capability assessment and targeted development interventions.
- Support strategic workforce planning by analyzing workforce requirements, capability gaps, capacity risks and opportunities to improve workforce effectiveness.
- Lead selected HR transformation and Organization Development projects across Malaysia and Indonesia from diagnosis and solution design through implementation and follow-through.
- Use people and organizational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and translate findings into practical recommendations and actions.
- Work closely with Country HR and business leaders to ensure solutions are practical, sustainable and aligned with local business needs.
You will work under the direction of Regional HR leadership and in close partnership with Country HR, bringing specialist expertise and execution capacity to agreed regional priorities.
What we are looking for
- 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial hands-on experience in Talent Management, Organization Development, Organization Effectiveness or related areas.
- Practical experience in organization design, succession planning, talent reviews and performance management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to turn findings into practical solutions and implementation plans.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and follow initiatives through from design to execution.
- Confidence facilitating discussions and working with senior stakeholders across functions and countries.
- Strong understanding of leadership development and strategic workforce planning.
- Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, industrial or other operational environments would be an advantage.
- Regional or multi-country experience would be an advantage.
- A degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Organization Development or a related discipline.
- Strong written and spoken English, with willingness to travel to our operating sites.
This opportunity would suit an experienced TMOD practitioner who enjoys solving organizational problems, building practical solutions and staying close to implementation rather than operating purely in an advisory capacity.
