Description:
This role owns the daily performance of the Risk & Trading Operations function in KL.
You'll manage a team responsible for risk surveillance, trade monitoring, client profiling, and system operations, while also overseeing MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) servers and related trading infrastructure. You're the bridge between local execution and HQ expectations. If something breaks, gets risky, or looks off, it lands on your radar first.
What You'll Be DoingTeam Leadership & Operational Oversight
You'll lead and develop a small Risk & Trading Ops team, handling:
- Scheduling and performance management
- Training and task delegation
- Daily execution of risk monitoring activities
- Escalations when things get serious (or suspiciously quiet)
Risk Surveillance & Trade Monitoring
You'll monitor live trading activity and identify:
- toxic or abusive flow
- margin and exposure risks
- pricing exploitation attempts
- unusual or suspicious trading behavior
Server & Platform Infrastructure Management
You'll manage MT4/MT5 servers and trading infrastructure to ensure stability and uptime.
This includes:
- monitoring platform health
- coordinating configuration updates (symbols, trading conditions, etc.)
- working with IT on patches, outages, and deployments
- supporting new product rollouts without breaking everything
Skills and Experiences:
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in brokerage, trading ops, or risk
- 1-2+ years leading a team (or surviving one, same thing really)
- Strong MT4/MT5 experience from a broker ops or infrastructure side
- Hands-on exposure to risk systems like oneZero, ARMS, PRISM, or similar
- Comfortable juggling people issues and system issues at the same time
- Strong communication skills with global/regional teams
Nice to Have
- Server management experience for trading systems
- Understanding of margin, client risk models, OTC derivatives
- SQL, Excel automation, or data analytics skills
- The ability to stay calm when everything is not calm
