Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the company's business and operations.

• Coordinate applications, submissions, licences, permits, approvals and renewals with relevant authorities.

• Liaise with government agencies, local authorities, councils and other regulatory bodies.

• Maintain and monitor regulatory registers, licences, permits and approval records.

• Ensure regulatory documents are properly maintained, updated and readily accessible.

• Monitor expiry dates and renewal requirements for relevant licences, permits and approvals.

• Follow up with internal departments and external stakeholders on outstanding regulatory matters.

• Monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and authority requirements.

• Assist management and relevant departments in understanding and implementing regulatory requirements.

• Conduct compliance checks and identify potential areas of non-compliance.

• Assist in preparing compliance reports, submissions and management updates.

• Support internal audits, regulatory inspections and other compliance-related activities.

• Ensure regulatory and compliance matters are properly documented and followed through to closure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Public Administration or a related field.

• Relevant experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, licensing, telecommunications or government liaison is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of documentation and regulatory processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Good follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

• Experience dealing with government agencies or local authorities will be an added advantage.

• Possess a valid driving license and own transportation.
