Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kelang, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of individual and/or business banking customers. The role involves building long-term relationships, understanding clients financial needs, and recommending appropriate banking products and services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting customer meetings, preparing proposals, reviewing account performance, and ensuring timely follow-up on enquiries and applications. The Relationship Manager collaborates with internal teams to support credit assessments, onboarding, and service resolution, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. This role also involves meeting sales and service targets, monitoring market trends, and contributing to initiatives that enhance customer experience and retention.

Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management skills, including client engagement, needs analysis, and account servicing.
- Knowledge of banking products and services across retail, business, or wholesale segments, with the ability to provide suitable financial solutions.
- Sales and business development capabilities, including pipeline management, negotiation, and achievement of performance targets.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess financial information, support credit evaluations, and manage risk responsibly.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple customer accounts and tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic office and banking software systems; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in financial services.
- Prior experience in relationship management, sales, or customer-facing roles in banking or financial services is highly beneficial.
