Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Georgetown. The Relationship Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of customers by providing tailored banking solutions, including loans, deposits, and investment products, to meet their financial needs. Responsibilities include building long-term client relationships, conducting regular account reviews, and proactively identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling CIMB's products and services. The role involves assessing creditworthiness, preparing and processing applications, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Relationship Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service, resolve customer issues promptly, and contribute to branch sales targets and overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong customer relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Candidates should possess sales, negotiation, and business development skills to achieve individual and branch performance targets.
- Candidates should possess financial analysis and credit assessment skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and evaluate risk.
- Candidates should possess communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple accounts and deliver timely solutions.
- Relevant academic qualification in Banking, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior experience in retail or commercial banking, especially in relationship management or sales, is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local financial regulations, banking products, and digital banking tools will be beneficial.
