Job Description
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role that drives operational excellence As a Reliability Maintenance Manager, you'll play a crucial part in our mission to elevate our site's performance! You'll not only provide essential Process and Mechanical support but also be at the forefront of eliminating technical breakdowns and optimizing equipment reliability.
The function is two-fold:
(a) provide Maintenance (Process and Mechanical) support to the site, eliminate mechanical and process-related technical breakdowns, and optimization of equipment reliability, OEE, and reduce unplanned downtime strategically.
(b) execute reliability maintenance program, preventive maintenance activities and improvement works associated with all end-to-end processing and packing assets to sustain and increase reliability of the machine.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
- Lead MWS RM COE and own Work Management element as part of reliability maintenance scope.
- Drive implementation of MWS for RM COE among engineering, technical, and operations teams with regular engagement, preparation, and training.
- Develop good relationships with other regional factories and strive for cross-learning and implementation of best practices for plant performance and MWS.
- Led the RM team which consists of 3 Shift Supervisors and 6 shift Mechanical & 6 shift PCIS Technician team members on daily preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance with 24-hour shift coverage.
- Delivery highest level of machine reliability with the optimum level of preventive, corrective & condition-based base maintenance strategic formulation and implementation.
- Responsible for guiding the team in conducting loss analysis using proper tools and identifying the root cause, improvement projects, and saving projects.
- Leads the team as the expert point of contact for process, mechanical, and SAP-related consultation and support.
- Lead SMEs to develop improvement plans across plants and equipment to improve MUC & OEE, Maintenance Systems effectives and efficiency along
- Act as the superuser for maintenance SAP and make sure the engineering team has good SAP knowledge with regular coaching and training sessions.
- Lead mechanical internal CAPEX project management by applying a reliability maintenance strategy for strategic investment and upkeep high machine reliability
- Owns Technician Training and development systems in support of Technician Progression
- Responsible for Site Daily Meeting Cadence with Tier 1-4 meetings and ensure they are healthy for results sustainability.
- To guard standards and regulations on EHS, QFS and other fundamentals by participating in and coaching during Leader Led Observations, Safety 7, Golden 6, and other EHS and QFS activities.
- Always maintain a good level of documentation and evidence management to support all internal and external audits. (QFS, MWS, EHS, DOSH, FSSC, HACCP, HALAL, and Global programs on FUS).
We're Looking for Someone With
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline with at least 8 years of working experience.
- Sound practical knowledge of mechanical engineering (rotating equipment, fasteners, bearings, gearbox, valves, thermodynamics, material strength & compatibility, etc.).
- Practical knowledge of process equipment working mechanisms and principles (fryer, mixing, grinding, canister filling, packing machines, conveyors, etc.).
- Preferably having work experience in F&B industries with experience in SAP system.
- Technical experience in the following systems:
i. Digital sensory devices (e.g. capacitive/inductive/magnetic/photoelectric sensors, electro
pneumatic actuators, etc.).
ii. Numerical literacy in basic electrical engineering (motor power, electrical load, cable sizing)
and process engineering (basic mathematics related to pressure, temperature, level, force,
etc.).
iii. Preferably with some process literacy in HVAC, compressed air supply, utility gas supply,
potable and wastewater treatment.
iv. Exposed to and hands-on experience with pillar-approached performance management
(MWS), CI tools, analysis tools, sound problem-solving and coaching skills. TPM PM
Concepts.
v. Good leadership skills with the ability to manage 24/7 operations, apply critical thinking
and demonstrate strong people management skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt and CAPEX project management experience will be an added
advantage.
