About the Role

This role will provide first-person consecutive interpretation services, focusing on doctor-patient conversations within the U.S. healthcare system. The role is ideal for individuals who are fluent in both Chinese and English, and it offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides meaning-for-meaning interpreting.
• Follows interpreter protocols as per training, policies, and procedures.
• Follows all policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM, Diploma, Any Graduate, Bachelor or comparable IT professional experience.

Required Skills

• Fluency in Cantonese & English.
• Skilled at communicating, both orally and in writing in Cantonese & English.
• Basic understanding of linguistics and different cultures.

Preferred Skills

• 0 to 5 years of interpretation experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

Pay range and compensation package

• Basic salary: 4000 5000 RM+ per month (negotiable).
• Shift allowance provided (25 RM/night).
• Internet allowance provided.
• Rotational Shift - 5 days per week - Monday to Friday working days (Saturday & Sunday regular Off).
