Remote Sensing Engineer

Angkasa-X offers innovative Satellite-as-a-Service (SaaS) to countries in ASEAN, improving internet access in rural areas of Southeast Asia and aiming to eradicate poverty. The company aspires to be a leading provider of LEO satellite-based Internet services in ASEAN and is raising funds from the global capital market to operate its A-SEANLINK LEO Satellite Constellation.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Remote Sensing Engineer located in Petaling Jaya. The Remote Sensing Engineer will be responsible for analyzing satellite imagery and data, developing algorithms for image processing, and ensuring the quality of remote sensing data. The role requires collaborating with the R&D team on satellite component design and testing, as well as participating in the launch and maintenance of LEO satellites.

• Expertise in Remote Sensing and Satellite Imagery Analysis
• Proficiency in Image Processing Algorithms and Software
• Experience in R&D, and Testing of Satellite Components
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills
• Experience with LEO satellite technology is a plus
• Bachelor&aposs degree in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Science, Engineering, or related field
