About the Role

Join ourRegional Repair Centre and gain hands-on experience in industrial electronics repair, PCB programming, and drive diagnostics. This internship is ideal for Electrical & Electronics Engineering students who are passionate about troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with advanced electronic systems used in elevator and escalator solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and validate Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
• Perform functional testing and diagnose PCB and electronic component failures.
• Support troubleshooting, repair, and testing of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and power electronics.
• Analyse fault codes, electrical readings, and system performance to identify root causes.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate repair records, test reports, and engineering documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance repair quality, reliability, and turnaround time.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and Repair Centre operating procedures.

Requirements

Education

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:

• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)
• Or related disciplines

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of electronics, electrical circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Knowledge of PCB programming, embedded systems, or microcontrollers is an advantage.
• Exposure to power electronics, motor drives, industrial automation, or repair activities is preferred.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes is an added advantage.
