Resident Engineer

Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Resident Engineer to provide on-site network security and technical support. The role involves maintaining LAN infrastructure, monitoring security systems, handling incidents, and ensuring reliable and secure network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for LAN and ICT security systems

Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls and network security equipment

Monitor network performance, traffic, and security threats

Detect, respond, and resolve network and security incidents

Ensure continuous network availability and performance

Prepare technical and security reports

Provide technical recommendations and support network improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with SLAs and security policies

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience in network and ICT security support

Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewall (mandatory)

Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, network troubleshooting, and security monitoring

Experience in incident response and client-site support roles

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills

Preferred Certifications:

Fortinet (required/preferred)

Cisco, CCNP, Aruba, ACSA (preferred)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or related field

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work independently on-site

Willing to work flexible hours and be on-call if required

Strong communication and client-facing skills
