Provide on‑site engineering oversight and work on typical design for data center construction and fit‑out projects to ensure design integrity, installation quality, compliance with standards, and seamless coordination between contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
What You'll Do
Project Execution (On Site)
- Monitor day to day engineering activities at the offshore site to ensure compliance with approved designs.
- Perform calculations using Hilti proprietary design software
- Perform analysis of 3D model to identify key applications and provide typical solutions
- Perform site checks for design deviations, clashes, or technical inconsistencies.
- Provide technical clarification to contractors and ensure correct interpretation of drawings.
Design / Technical Coordination
- Review shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and material submissions.
- Liaise with internal design engineers to resolve site issues promptly.
- Support structural and anchoring calculations for complex design applications.
Stakeholder Management
- Participate in coordination meetings with:
Main contractor
MEP subcontractors
Consultants
Internal engineering teams
- Communicate project progress, risks, and technical challenges effectively.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct quality checks on installation of MEP and support systems.
- Assist in QA/QC processes, ensuring adherence to company engineering standards.
- Prepare engineering reports, site photos, and update documentation.
What You'll Bring
- Engineering qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience: Minimum 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in critical facilities, data centres, MEP engineering, or modular support systems.
- Technical foundation: Basic understanding of structural supports, MEP services, and structural applications, with the ability to interpret construction drawings and technical submittals.
- Tools & documentation: Proficient in CAD and engineering design tools (e.g. AutoCAD, BIM viewers such as Navisworks), with strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Professional competencies: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, solution oriented mindset, ability to work across cultures, and strong English proficiency.
