Role: OT Resident Engineer

Working Mode: Hybrid but mainly on client site
Job Type: 12 Months contract based. Renewable/Extendable
Job Location: Subang/Ara Damansara
Experience: 5 years working experience in industrial cybersecurity

Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity products and solutions at client locations
Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration testing as needed
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients for cybersecurity solutions
Monitor and analyze security incidents, respond to incidents in a timely manner, and implement remediation actions
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
Assist in developing and maintaining documentation related to cybersecurity configurations, processes, and procedures
Train client personnel on the use of cybersecurity tools and best practices
Participate in meetings with clients to discuss cybersecurity strategies, initiatives, and recommendations
Work closely with sales and account management teams to support pre-sales activities and project planning
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proven experience in a cybersecurity role, with hands-on experience deploying and supporting security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, etc.)
Strong understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switching
Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies (penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, etc.)
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or related certifications are preferred
Ability to travel to client sites as needed
