Job Summary..

The Retail Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of a Maxis Mobile retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities..

. Assist the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and motivating a team of retail sales consultants to achieve individual and store sales goals.
. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising standards.
. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by actively engaging with customers, resolving complaints, and providing expert advice on Maxis products and services.
. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
. Train new employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies and procedures.
. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
. Assist with scheduling, performance reviews, and other HR-related tasks as delegated by the Store Manager.
. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and security measures.
. Act as Store Manager in their absence, taking full responsibility for store operations and team leadership.

Job Qualifications..

. Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
. Sound knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and cash handling.
. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
. A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
