Finance Manager Job Scope

1. Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee daily finance operations including accounting, treasury, and tax.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure timely closing of accounts and compliance with reporting standards (e.g., MFRS/IFRS).

Provide accurate financial analysis to support management decision-making.

2. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Manage companys cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.

Optimize working capital through receivables, payables, and inventory management.

Oversee banking facilities, loan applications, and financing arrangements.

3. Taxation & Compliance

Ensure compliance with corporate tax, SST, e-Invoicing, and other statutory requirements.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.

Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations.

4. Internal Controls & Risk Management

Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures.

Ensure proper authorization, documentation, and audit trails.

Safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

6. Team Leadership & Development

Build cross-department collaboration (e.g., with operations, HR, and sales).

Ensure efficient workflow and timely deliverables.

Supervise, coach, and develop the finance team.
