Job Description:
1. Operational Efficiency and Compliance
- Align project activities with In-Country Operations HQ SOP, Policy, and relevant local regulations
- Drive smooth and efficient operation of project-related retail aspects within the country
- Manage and monitor KPI for Operation Team
2. Workforce Management
- Lead and oversee recruitment, interview, selection, training, and development of store operation employees
- Maintain consistency and exceptional standards of in-store customer service
- Complete all operational tasks accurately and efficiently
3. Inventory Management
- Present and merchandise all stores to the highest standard
- Maintain in-store stock levels
- Address audit findings and provide action plans based on internal and external audits
4. Project Implementation and Support
- Build and lead the operations team for business expansion, system implementation, and new store openings
- Execute day-to-day project-related tasks, including inventory management and sales generation
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, optimise processes, increase sales, enhance service quality, and minimise security risks and losses
5. Market and Business Understanding
- Evaluate competitors and monitor market trends
- Research demand for the organization's products and services
- Participate in promotional planning and provide input on product positioning
6. Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with project teams and HQ departments to resolve issues and enhance project-related processes
- Present reports on project progress, sales trends, and business developments
- Communicate project updates and escalate significant issues to HQ and stakeholders
- Define project objectives, establish timelines, monitor progress, and evaluate performance
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in retail management or a similar customer-facing role.
- Willing to be relocated overseas for the duration of the secondment project.
- Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Retail Management, or Marketing)
- Proven track record in leading and motivating high-performing teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships 1 with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in using retail management software and data analysis tools
