The Recipe for Success: Role Summary

Join the vibrant world of Le Creuset as a Retail Sales Associate, where cookware meets colour, and customers come for inspiration! You'll be the friendly face helping shoppers discover their next kitchen favourite, sharing product tips, and keeping the store looking fabulous. From ringing up sales to restocking shelves, you'll bring energy, enthusiasm, and a love for great food and design to every shift.

Ingredients: Key Responsibilities

  • Provide managerial direction to store and SIS teams, to ensure consistency and continual improvement of key performance indicators. To include:
  • Regular visits to stores within the channel. Working with the store & SIS teams to identify actions in particular to drive sales and premium brand equity, implementing where relevant at the time, and documenting through the store visit report. Provide a (dynamic) weekly report with feedback on performance for the most recent week and year to date; identifying key actions and drivers and ensuring these are completed.
  • Support in the recruitment and induction of store personnel in liaison with human resources, and in accordance with company standard practice
  • Identify trends, through the collection and analysis of trading data from all point of sales, and assist Country Manager with the implementation of divisional strategy
  • Support retail teams in the development of store personnel, and ensure that all store personnel attain core-training in POS system, customer service, selling skills, visual merchandising, health & safety and any other skills as directed by the head of retail
  • Support of the ongoing development of visual merchandising guidelines in liaison with Country Manager and regional Visual Merchandising team.
  • Local marketing – identify opportunities for Premium local marketing ensuring these are implemented wherever relevant and practical self-sufficiently. Including: Maximising Le Creuset partnership with Mall and Departmental Stores management to drive awareness, marketing initiatives, footfall and sales. Document and report on events including both coverage (photos/visuals) and financial results. Identify, share and implement those initiatives that can be run across a channel or the whole retail division.
  • Manage the following processes for stores within the area and maintain accurate operational records: Appraisals and PDP's for stores, SIS and oversee store teams. Holidays – for store and SIS teams and ensure that store they maintain accurate records. Payroll – Maintain accurate schedules, review and approve/decline store teams exceptions each month. o Oversee store teams schedules, ensuring potential issues are identified, resolved and/or communicated to relevant team members.
  • Collates monthly stores & SIS data analysis to ensure this can be used to enhance Le Creuset performance.
  • Support in the identification of relevant retail best practices including documentation and sharing/implementation of these across the whole retail division.
  • Carry out from time to time and as directed, any other duties as required in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within your capabilities.
  • Ensure that at all times you take care of your health and safety and that of others by complying with health and safety obligations, particularly by reporting promptly any defects, risks or potential hazards.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience of driving retail sales, and customer service and principles.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a retail environment to include a minimum of 5 years experience in a Managerial role, with line management responsibility.
  • Proven track record of accuracy and time management.
  • Proven track record in KPI achievement and in a similar field role is desirable.
