The Role

The Retail Media Operations Specialist is a key member of the regional retail media operations team, responsible for executing managed-service retail media campaigns and supporting self-serve advertisers with precision on the retail media platforms.

This role supports Hong Kong as a core market, alongside Southeast Asia markets, working closely with local and regional stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution and delivery excellence across in-app, eCommerce, and in-store retail media.

  • Campaign Execution & Delivery: Execute end-to-end setup, trafficking, monitoring, and basic in-flight optimization for managed-service retail media campaigns across loyalty in-app, eCommerce, and in-store digital screens, in line with SLA and quality targets.
  • Advertiser Support: Provide day-to-day support for advertisers, including troubleshooting, platform guidance, and issue resolution.
  • Quality, Process & Documentation: Ensure accurate campaign implementation in line with SOPs and quality standards, including pre-launch checks on own and selected peer work, and maintain accurate setup and change records.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with regional managers and team members to manage workload, priorities, and execution timelines effectively.
  • Platform & System Enablement: Learn and support campaign execution across new platforms or systems as business needs evolve.
  • Team Enablement & Improvement: Contribute to onboarding, knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen team efficiency and execution quality.
  • Peak Period Support: Support campaign launches and peak periods with reasonable schedule flexibility when required to meet delivery timelines.
  • Issue Escalation: Identify risks early and escalate operational issues promptly, with clear context and proposed next steps

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, IT, or a related field, with 25 years of experience in digital ad operations, campaign management, or trafficking roles.
  • Hands-on experience with ad serving or campaign management platforms, and solid understanding of digital advertising concepts and terminology.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven record of accurate, reliable execution, and accountability for delivery timelines and SLAs.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working with structured SOPs, basic campaign data, and performance reports, while proactively flagging issues or improvement opportunities.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and willingness to learn new platforms, tools, and processes.
  • Experience supporting stakeholders across multiple markets or regions is a strong advantage.
  • Working proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese).

Preferred/Bonus:

  • Experience in retail media or programmatic advertising environments.
  • Familiarity with ad creative specifications and basic creative troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) platforms or Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Prior hands-on experience with Retail Media or MarTech platforms such as Insider, Criteo, Osmos, Google Ad Manager, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
