We are seeking a proactive Risk & Compliance Specialist to strengthen our risk management framework and ensure regulatory compliance across our projects and operations. You will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, reviewing contracts and commercial documents, and embedding a culture of compliance throughout the organization. This role offers hands-on exposure to complex telecom infrastructure projects, cross-functional collaboration, and direct impact on the company's growth and operational

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's risk management, corporate governance and compliance framework across regional operations
  • Identify, assess, and monitor enterprise risks, including operational, regulatory, contractual, and project-related risks within telecom and infrastructure projects
  • Develop and maintain risk registers, perform risk assessments, and track mitigation plans to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies across all business functions
  • Review contracts, tenders, and commercial documents to identify potential risk exposures and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, legal, finance, and project teams to embed risk awareness into daily operations
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and investigations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-through on findings
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry developments, advising stakeholders on potential impact to the business
  • Prepare risk and compliance reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review
  • Promote a strong risk-aware and compliance-driven culture through training, communication, and guidance

What you should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, or governance roles
  • Experience in infrastructure, telecommunications, engineering, or project-based environments is preferred
  • Strong understanding of enterprise risk management principles and compliance frameworks
  • Ability to review contracts and identify key risk exposures
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Salary: RM 8K - RM 10K
