Risk Control Analyst - Crypto Exchange
Job Responsibilities
- Investigate user account activity flagged by the transaction monitoring system to ensure comprehensive analysis and problem resolution in an exchange and blockchain environment.
- Collaborate with the XFN team when necessary to collect additional information (RFI) to handle complex cases.
- Examine internal and external data sources to identify suspicious activity, negative public opinion, and latent risks.
- Evaluate the investigation results, determine the risk level, and make recommendations for escalation if necessary.
- Keep complete investigation records, including relevant evidence and case documents.
- Write a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR), including a narrative section and submission materials.
- Support temporary projects such as quality review, transaction monitoring system verification, updates, and training.
Job Requirements
- Experience in exchange risk review/audit, trade monitoring, or operations risk within a financial exchange, fintech, or cryptocurrency environment is essential.
- Must possess practical knowledge of exchange operations and blockchain technology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (fluent English and Mandarin required).
- Able to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Proactive, highly self-disciplined, results-oriented, and adheres to compliance principles.
- Experience in working effectively with global cross-business teams.
