Risk Management Senior Executive (Senior Officer)

Job responsibilities

• -Perform risk management & audit procedures in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures
• -Review and evaluate internal controls, operational processes and financial data to identify control weaknesses and compliance issues
• -Prepare detailed audit workpapers, findings and recommendations for review by HOD. Assist in preparing clear, concise and accurate audit reports detailing findings and recommendations
• -Communicate audit results to management and stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and risk mitigation
• -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management and internal controls
• -Responsible for conducting risk-based audits, which encompasses key business and financial processes as per the annual audit plan
• -Develop, review and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and risk mitigation, PDPA and review of contract experience
• -Ensure that SOPs align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements and company objectives
• -Conduct risk assessments on operational workflows, identifying bottlenecks and process inefficiencies.

Requirements

• Degree or a professional qualification in Finance or Accountancy
• Membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or any other recognised professional body (good to have)
• Possess at least 2 - 5 years working experience in internal audit, accounting firm or corporate sectors
• Possess a high level of integrity with strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of the regulations and reporting requirements of a public listed company.
• Good understanding and knowledge of SAP processes.
• Familiar with corporate governance and compliance practices.
• Well versed in all Microsoft Office.
• Able to work under pressure and deadline.
• Confident, resourceful, analytical and innovative.
• Excellent command of written and verbal English
• Able to draft reports.
• Strong project management skills with ability to drive process improvements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and building relationships.
