How you create impact
Business and Product Development
- Acquire and support the acquisition of new business, including key account management.
- Strengthen customer relationships and grow the existing customer base.
- Lead and support the business development process, including tender analysis, solution design, costing, pricing, and service offering development.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Analyze and evaluate Merger & Acquisition (M&A) opportunities.
- Lead transport subcontractor management to execute global carrier initiatives effectively.
- Ensure efficient and effective operations by continuously optimizing processes in line with corporate standards, guidelines, and performance targets.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational and management reporting systems.
- Develop staff competencies and foster synergies between Overland (FO) and Distribution (FD) businesses.
- Support other business fields by sharing expertise to enhance service quality and profitability.
- Hold full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for national FO and FD business fields.
- Monitor annual budgets and initiate corrective actions to address performance deviations.
- Supervise and approve customer solution proposals.
- Oversee and manage project implementation to ensure successful delivery.
- Demonstrate strong leadership competencies to effectively lead, motivate, and develop direct reports.
- Ensure all staff adhere to professional behavior and ethical standards as defined in the Company Code of Conduct.
- Ensure direct reports receive proper induction and ongoing training to meet role responsibilities and KPIs.
- Motivate the team to be proactive, engaged, and enthusiastic in service delivery.
- Ensure clear, timely, and consistent communication of company, business, and team information.
- Demonstrated ability to lead national logistics businesses with strong commercial acumen, delivering sustainable revenue growth and margin improvement in line with KN strategy.
- Proven experience with full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, and execution of corrective actions to meet financial targets.
- Strong capability in driving operational efficiency through standardized processes, continuous improvement, and adherence to KN corporate guidelines and performance frameworks.
- Expertise in customer-centric solution development, tender management, pricing, and contract negotiation, with a track record of winning and retaining strategic accounts.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration across FO and FD while upholding KN leadership behaviors, ethics, and Code of Conduct.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor landscape, subcontractor management, and strategic initiatives (including M&A assessment) to support long-term business growth.
