RPA, Team Lead

Job Purpose

Responsible for driving the strategic vision, governance, and execution of Robotic Process Automation initiatives

across the organization. This role serves as the central point of coordination for all RPA-related activities, ensuring

alignment with business objectives, technology standards, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Define and drive the RPA vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals.

2. Identify automation opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.

3. Establish and enforce RPA governance frameworks, development standards, and best practices.

4. Ensure compliance with IT security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.

5. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of RPA projects from ideation and assessment to deployment and maintenance.

6. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.

7. Collaborate with business units, IT, and leadership to identify automation needs and secure buy-in.

8. Build and lead a high-performing RPA team, including developers, analysts, and support staff.

9. Promote knowledge sharing, training, and continuous improvement within the CoE and across the organization.

10. Evaluate and manage RPA tools, platforms, and vendor relationships.

11. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to enhance automation capabilities.

12. Drive change management efforts to support adoption of automation solutions.

Qualifications & Skills (including mandated licenses where applicable)

1. Deep understanding of RPA tools and technologies (e.g., UiPath).

2. Familiarity with process mining, OCR, AI/ML integration, and workflow orchestration.

3. Knowledge on agile methodologies.

4. Basic programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, VB.NET, JavaScript) are a plus.

5. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

6. Ability to define and execute automation strategy aligned with business goals.

7. Experience in setting up and scaling RPA CoEs.

8. Strong analytical mindset to assess automation opportunities and ROI.

9. Ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues and drive resolution.

10. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

11. Ability to influence and collaborate across business units and technical teams.

12. Skilled in preparing executive-level presentations and reports.
