The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records within the industrial/manufacturing industry.

Description

• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entry postings.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Monitor and manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and financial reviews.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights to assist decision-making processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations.
  
  

Profile

A Successful General Ledger Accountant Should Have

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of general ledger functions and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Familiarity with industrial/manufacturing accounting processes is an advantage.
