Hiring RTR Senior Accountant/Manager in a Financial Shared Services [Johor]

This established financial institution based in Johor is looking for an RTR Accountants/Manager to join its dynamic business.

Your new role

You will be responsible for managing the Record-to-Report process, preparing statutory and management reports, handling tax filings, and driving process improvements while maintaining strong internal controls.

As a manager, you will lead and guide the team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Group policies, oversee month-end closing, troubleshoot system gaps, and support strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you'll possess:

• Industry experience in SSC, FMCG, or Retail.
• Strong communication in English and Mandarin.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Min 1 year of experience in end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) or GL - Leadership role min 5 years.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, or revenue reporting.
• Experience in IFRS and GAAP.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and able to handle ambiguity.

Good to have:

• Chartered Accountant.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamic, SAP S/4HANA
