Description
- Manage and oversee the record-to-report (RTR) processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve accounting processes.
- Handle reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
- Communicate effectively in Japanese, Mandarin, and Cantonese to support various stakeholders.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial processes and reporting.
Profile
A Successful RTR Specialist (Japanese Speaker) Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Japanese (min JLPT N2) and English. Candidate who are proficient in Mandarin OR Cantonese are an added advantage
- Min 1 year experience in RTR or related SSC experience
- Experience in ERP systems (e.g. SAP or Oracle) are an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced professional services environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
