Job Description:- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.- Investigate accidents and incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Advise employers and any person in charge of workplace.
- Become secretary to the safety and health committee.
Develop and deliver safety training programs to all employees according safety protocols and procedures.- Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Monitor and report on environmental performance, including waste management, emissions control, and resource conservation.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential environmental impacts.
Ensure the organizations compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation.
Stay current with changes in safety and environmental laws and regulations, and update policies and procedures as necessary.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for various types of incidents, including fire, chemical spills, and natural disasters.
Lead and coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness for potential emergencies.
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA) are a plus.
3 years and above experience in safety and environmental management or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
Experience in communication with upper management and related government department.
