Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Establishes and maintains company's health, safety and environment control programs.
  2. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  3. Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
  4. Identifies and provides solutions to health, safety and environment problems.
  5. Establish the safety programs for the project.
  6. Ensure achievement of HSE KPI.
  7. Organize safety committee, if necessary.
  8. Provide HSE Training to the respective staff.
  9. Maintain the safety statistic record for the company.
  10. Periodical audit on safety compliance at all project site, prepare report and provide recommendation for improvement (if any).
  11. Create safe working environment which is free from accidents and violations.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline is typically required.
  2. Minimum 9 years of working experiences in related field.
  3. Green Book certification is a MUST.
  4. Strong knowledge of local and national HSE regulations in Malaysia is essential.
  5. Practical experience in HSE management, including program development and compliance.
  6. Proficient in risk assessment and management.
  7. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  8. Excellent employee's engagement skills.
  9. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  10. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
