Tight collaboration with the facility teams throughout the operation process
Develop Safety policies and procedures, conducts regular reviews company/ factory's safety policies and updates procedures
Promotes Safety and Health awareness through internal company training programs
Audits the company safety practices and participate in new product, machine reviews including hazard analysis and operators training
Support company/ factory implementation of process control to minimize Occupational safety and Occupational Health hazards
Oversees the supervision of the factory safety committee and acts as the secretary to regular Safety Committee meeting
Work closely with the facility team to ensure all of the company utilities system will running smoothly and to predict any unexpected breakdown
Liaise with regulatory officer in JKKP Audit, DOE Audit and any government bodies related to environment, safety and health
Control activities of contractors / sub-contractors / vendors / visitors at workplace on the Safety & Health procedures and ensuring all employee are in compliance with safety policies
To perform weekly safety and health checklist and report for management review
Schedule waste management: responsible in packaging, labeling, storage, monitoring, record keeping and reporting on schedule waste matters
To carry out other duties assigned by management from time to time
Job Requirements:
1. Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
2. Possess a Green Book registered with DOSH is advantages
3. At least 2 years working experience in the related field
4. Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949
5. Ability to assist and review documents
6. Excellence in MS such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
7. Working independently and with minimum supervisions
8. Show strong leadership and self-driven motivation to achieve excellent result
