As a Safety Officer at RoviSys, you will be responsible for facilitation and implementation of safety compliances according to government safety and health standards and regulations on sites. You will work closely with Project Managers, site operation staff, vendors as well as contractors on safety and health issues, conduct safety and hazards inspection for risk assessment, identify and promptly correcting unsafe site conditions and recommend corrective actions and providing other ad-hoc support when required.
Description of work:
- Work closely with project managers, site operations staff, vendors as well as contractors on safety and health issues.
- Develop and implement project-specific HIRARC and JSA for work activities.
- Conduct safety and hazard inspection for risk assessments.
- Conduct and attend to all safety activities (New workers induction, tool box meeting, etc.)
- Perform accident/incident investigation and file for records.
- In charge of safety site inspection and audits, including checklist recording and filling.
- Identify and promptly correcting unsafe sit conditions and recommend corrective actions
- Providing other ad-hoc support when required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma level, Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health preferred
- Possess DOSH-registered Green Book Holder
- At least 5 years site safety experience
- Self-motivated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
