Job Description

Position : Safety SSHE Engineer

Industry : Oil & Gas

Location : Kuala Lumpur

Job Description:

Implement, monitor, and enforce SSHE policies, procedures, and standards on project sites.
Conduct SSHE inspections, audits, and risk assessments for onshore and offshore activities.
Provide SSHE guidance and support to engineering, construction, and project teams.
Review project designs and construction plans to ensure compliance with SSHE requirements.
Participate in incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action follow-up.
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and SSHE training sessions for project personnel.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
Support the construction or upgrading of offshore facilities with SSHE oversight.
Maintain accurate SSHE records, reports, and documentation.
Promote a proactive safety culture across all project activities.

Qualification/Skills:

Recognized Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum seven (7) years of experience as an SSHE Engineer in oil and gas projects (onshore, offshore, facilities, and pipeline).
Extensive experience and knowledge in the construction or upgrading of offshore facilities.
Medically fit for onshore and offshore work.
