Are you passionate about creating a safe work environment on construction sites Were looking for a Site Safety Supervisor to join our growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring that our project sites maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily safety and health checks on-site, ensuring hazards are addressed and rectified.
- Assist Site Managers, Supervisors, and Foremen with daily Toolbox Talks, Pre-task Talks, and awareness briefings.
- Ensure all site works are executed in line with approved Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Monitor site compliance with Client Requirements (GMR), HIRARC, SWMS, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
- Intervene and advise when unsafe acts or conditions are observed.
- Manage and coordinate security and access control at the project site.
- Enforce the Permit to Work requirements and ensure all documentation is properly verified.
- Raise and track daily safety and health observations, ensuring timely closure.
- Be responsible for the overall safety, health, and environmental performance of the site.
- Support the Safety & Health Manager with other assigned tasks and duties.
Requirements:
- Certification in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid Yellow Book (Green Book holder preferred) issued by DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia).
- At least 23 years of site safety supervision experience in a construction environment.
- Good understanding of HIRARC, PTW systems, and SWMS.
- Strong communication and intervention skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
