Sales & Application Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:-

1. Sales Management

Drive sales performance to achieve targets, update & manage orders, track sales progress, negotiate contract terms. Prepare weekly activity plans along with comprehensive CRM reports.

2. Client Engagement

Consult with clients to understand their technical needs & challenges, delivering customised solutions to align with their objectives.

3. Technical Support Expertise

Conduct compelling product demonstrations & presentations tailored for clients, consultants & system integrators.

4. Market Intelligence

Monitor industry trends, analyse competitor offerings & explore emerging technologies to strengthen product positioning & competitiveness. 

Collect & relay valuable customer feedback to product development teams, fostering continuous improvement & innovation.

5. After Sales-Support

Provide prompt technical assistance post-sale, ensuring seamless troubleshooting & sustained client satisfaction.

6. Application Collaboration

Partner with management & design teams to refine and innovate product features for future advancements.

Qualifications / Entry Requirements 

• Malaysian citizen.
• Advance Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Oil & Gas related Engineering field.
• 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, especially in industrial electrical or process industry sales.
• Experience in process control or oil & gas industries is a plus.
• Strong customer service, analytical, interpersonal & communication skills.
• Excellent organisational, research & multitasking abilities are advantageous.
• Proficient in negotiation & problem solving.
• Valid driving license & own transport.
• Willingness to provide on-site support.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & similar tools.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
