Sales Chef

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced chef with strong commercial kitchen knowledge and sales capabilities to demonstrate equipment, develop practical kitchen applications, and drive equipment sales. The ideal candidate has at least five years of hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, understands how different kitchen machines perform in real service environments, and is curious about food experimentation, techniques and texture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct technical product demonstrations, equipment trials and application testing to showcase equipment capabilities and performance.
2. Apply professional kitchen experience to demonstrate equipment in real-world service conditions and recommend suitable solutions.
3. Experiment with ingredients, cooking techniques and textures to develop innovative menu concepts and demonstrate equipment applications.
4. Understand customer requirements and recommend equipment based on menu needs, kitchen workflows, operational efficiency and space constraints.
5. Drive equipment sales through product demonstrations, customer engagement, referrals and targeted business development.
6. Work closely with the sales and clients to develop commercially viable kitchen solutions and support project implementation.
7. Evaluate new equipment and technologies based on performance, usability, reliability and commercial suitability.
8. Represent Endura at customer meetings, industry events, demonstrations and product launches.

Requirements

1. Minimum five years of hands-on experience as a line chef, service chef or equivalent professional kitchen role.
2. Practical experience operating multiple types of commercial kitchen equipment and machinery.
3. Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, menu requirements and service workflows.
4. Genuine curiosity about food experimentation, cooking techniques, ingredient behaviour and texture.
5. Confident presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical equipment features and benefits.
6. Strong sales aptitude, including prospect engagement, needs discovery, product recommendation and closing.
7. Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working with customers and cross-functional teams.
8. Willingness to conduct on-site demonstrations and travel for customer engagements.

Good to Have

• Experience conducting equipment demonstrations or culinary workshops.
• Existing relationships within the F&B industry.
• Experience in kitchen planning, menu development or equipment selection.
• A culinary qualification or relevant professional training.
