Job Description

Our client is global technology leader specializing in biometric identity assurance and digital authentication solutions. They are seeking a highly driven Sales Director to support the continued expansion of their business across Southeast Asia. Building on an established presence in the region, this role will focus on driving new enterprise sales and strengthening relationships with strategic clients, particularly in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

This is a hands-on sales leadership role responsible for managing the entire sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to deal closure. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market presence, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across high-potential markets.

As organizations across financial services, telecommunications, payments, and government sectors increasingly invest in secure digital onboarding and identity verification technologies, this role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of a rapidly expanding market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and strategic business development initiatives
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline to support consistent revenue growth and quota achievement across Southeast Asia
  • Own and manage the full enterprise sales cycle, including opportunity qualification, solution positioning, contract negotiations, and deal closure
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, system integrators, technology partners, and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to define and execute medium- and long-term market growth strategies
  • Expand the company's presence across key industry sectors including financial services, telecommunications, and digital platforms
  • Prepare and present quarterly sales reviews, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for priority enterprise accounts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
  • Formal training in consultative or solution-based sales methodologies is preferred

Experience, Skills & Profile

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, selling complex technology solutions directly to large organizations
  • Proven experience selling across Southeast Asian markets, particularly Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand
  • Experience working with organizations in sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, payments, or digital platforms
  • Strong understanding of the digital identity ecosystem, including identity verification, identity proofing, or authentication technologies
  • Additional familiarity with mobile platforms, digital banking environments, or customer authentication technologies is advantageous
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, consultative sales cycles and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Established professional network with senior decision-makers across relevant industries
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently generate opportunities and close deals
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and executive reporting
