Role Overview:

The Sales Director will spearhead the outlet business development strategy, driving growth through new store openings, channel expansion, and revenue optimization. This role requires strong leadership in building and mentoring sales teams, managing outlet operations, and fostering key partnerships to ensure sustainable growth and enhanced market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the formulation and execution of outlet business development strategies to expand market presence and achieve sales growth targets.
  • Identify new retail locations, evaluate market potential, and oversee the establishment of new outlets, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and business objectives.
  • Drive revenue and profitability by developing innovative sales initiatives, promotions, and customer engagement strategies tailored for the outlet segment.
  • Manage end-to-end outlet operations, including sales performance monitoring, inventory planning, and cost management to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Build and nurture strong client and partner relationships to support long-term business expansion and channel diversification.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, establishing KPIs, performance reviews, and continuous development plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and supply chain to support outlet growth strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to adjust business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and present business reports, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in retail, lifestyle, or outlet business development.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth, outlet expansion, and managing large-scale retail operations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and translate them into successful business strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for business development and outlet management activities.
