How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success

As a Sales Engineer based in Penang, you will be the technical and commercial backbone of our growth. You won't just be selling; you will be driving market share for Industrial Packaged and Specialty Gases by matching our sophisticated gas solutions to the evolving needs of the manufacturing and energy sectors. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, ensuring our technical solutions consistently exceed customer expectations.

  • Drives sales growth and expands market share for Industrial Packaged and Specialty Gas products.
  • Identify and qualify new technical opportunities to enlarge our service offer and portfolio.
  • Build long-term loyalty through scheduled strategic meetings with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Lead the full sales process and negotiate major deals aligned with customer decision-making cycles.
  • Manage customer debt statements and ensure timely payment collections to maintain account health.
  • Utilize Power BI and CRM tools to produce detailed sales analysis and performance reports.
  • Improve account profitability and contract strength through rigorous price escalation and duration reviews.
  • Review and validate agreements to ensure strict alignment with sales policies and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.
  • Monitor cylinder holdings and recover long-overdue assets from inactive accounts to optimize inventory.
  • Frequent liaison with Mandarin-speaking counterparts and clients, which is a core component of this role's success.

Are you a MATCH

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Engineering or Technical backgrounds are highly encouraged).
  • Ability to map customer organizations and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Possession of own transportation and a willingness to travel extensively across the Penang area.
  • An optimistic, proactive, and outgoing personality with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
  • Proven ability to pivot strategies and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • At least 1 year in sales or business development (any industry).
