Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Engineer/Business Development Executive based in Penang, Malaysia. The responsibilities include driving sales growth by identifying prospective customers, building strong client relationships, and providing technical support for QualiChem's metalworking fluid solutions. The role involves preparing and delivering product demonstrations, collaborating with the technical team to address client needs, and developing effective strategies to expand market presence. Additionally, the candidate will create and execute business development plans to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• Sales and Business Development skills, including networking, account management, and opportunity analysis
• Technical knowledge of metalworking fluids, metal cutting, machine tools, manufacturing processes, or related industries
• Problem-solving and Analytical skills to identify customer needs and deliver relevant solutions
• Strong Communication and Presentation skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and within a team
• Proficiency in using CRM software and basic office tools
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field
• Relevant work experience in sales or the manufacturing/industrial industry
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
