Sales Engineer (Oil & Gas)

We are looking for a talented Sales Engineer for a established company that specializes in rotating equipment supplying and servicing.

Reporting to: Sales Manager

Location: Puchong

the role

• Business Development: Drive sales and marketing for rotating and industrial equipment by identifying new market opportunities and expanding the customer base.
• Technical Consulting: Select electrical components and accessories based on tender specifications and provide expert responses to technical-commercial inquiries.
• Relationship Management: Maintain strong client rapport through regular site visits, active follow-ups, and dedicated field support services.
• Proposal & Tendering: Lead the preparation of project tenders, including proposal submission, sales presentations, and technical-commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Project Execution: Manage the end-to-end order process, ensuring accurate purchase order compilation, price calculations, and seamless delivery execution.
• Operational Support: Oversee daily customer service activities, manage payment collections, and fulfill additional assignments as directed by management.
  
  

the requirements

• Bachelor's degree/ diploma or equivalent sales training or experience.
• Availability for regular business travel.
• Extensive business-to-business sales experience, preferably in similar industries.
• Excellent planning & organizational skills.
