Job Responsibilities
- Sales & Account Management: Prospect for new accounts, generate leads, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients (OEMs, ODMs, and EMS).
- Technical Consultation: Act as the primary technical point of contact. Understand product applications and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Proposals & Pricing: Prepare client quotations, assist with price negotiations, and coordinate contract terms.
- Customer Support: Handling pre-and post-sales technical issues (including post-sales quality issues) and overseeing customer delivery schedules.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market surveys, monitor competitor activities, and provide feedback on emerging industry trends.
Job Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline fresh graduate, OR, Diploma in Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline + minimum 2-4 years working experience in electronic component sales may be considered. Experience in handling regional business is a plus.
- Capable to do design-in and spec-in to R&D engineers.
- Product experience: Experience with electronic components (relays, switches, connectors, sensors etc.).
- Industry experience: Experience in electronics manufacturing industry.
- IT skill and literacy: Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Applications
Travelling Requirements
- Domestic travel for customer visiting
- 50% travel within Peninsular Malaysia
- Possess driving license
The purpose of this role is to develop new and key customers and strive towards exceeding sales budget and goals.
