Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned regions or market segments.

  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling to expand client base.

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitor activities.

  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and tenders to potential clients.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable sales.

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.

  • Provide professional consultation and product recommendations to meet client needs.

  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

  • Follow up on post-sales support, including order processing, delivery coordination, and after-sales service.

3. Technical & Product Knowledge

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of product specifications, applications, and advantages.

  • Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to offer customized solutions to clients.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for customers when necessary.

4. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.

  • Coordinate closely with internal departments (Logistics, Accounts, and Production) to ensure smooth sales operations.

  • Maintain accurate and updated customer databases and sales records.

5. Marketing & Promotion

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and marketing campaigns to promote company products.

  • Support the marketing team in implementing promotional strategies and campaigns.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.

  • Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial, automation, or technology sectors.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic CRM tools.

  • Fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin (advantageous for client communication).
